Knowledge fades without space to practise it. Technology misses perspectives when too few cultures shape it.
We bring people together to learn by doing, create across disciplines and ask better questions. Our vision is a future shaped by cultural and linguistic diversity.

02 /About IWHO
Independent. Participatory. Connected.
An organisation built around exchange.
Founded in 2020, the Intangible World Heritage Organization (IWHO) is a Luxembourg-based nonprofit connecting living heritage, artistic practice, science and emerging technology.
We bring communities, practitioners, researchers and institutions together to learn and develop new work while preserving cultural difference.
Learn directly from practitioners. Make a film, share a recipe, build an instrument or find a new rhythm. Turn shared practice into something everyone can experience.
An initiative in development exploring how language and cultural context shape AI safety. Connecting research with the experiences of multilingual communities.
